WINTER’S BLANKET

What the blanket of snow
Lacks in warmth
It makes up for in beauty
Melting hearts with each glance

Covered tracks provide a fresh start
Towards rediscovering a journey
Once thought lost or not worth remembering
Engaging the spirit and challenging the mind

Nature’s resilience inspires strength
To continue on despite a challenging environment
Though frozen in place
Determination thaws the limbs
Empowering movement great and small.
