You…yes, you! You are creative. Did you know that? Do you embrace that descriptive term or cringe at the mere idea? I ask you to consider that we are all creative beings in one way or another.
Take a few moments out of your Monday schedule to ponder the following:
- What inspires you?
- What stimulates your creativity?
- What art forms do you enjoy either as an active participant or as a spectator?
Throughout the course of the day, jot down three examples of your creative interests. Do you like to cook/bake, quilt, play sports, sing in a choir, or write editorials? Maybe you enjoy coming up with fun and inventive games for children. Perhaps you facilitate professional development events, always striving to engage and motivate the staff.
