I am an entertainment girl at heart and have been since childhood. Music was my first love, with creative writing a close second, but the TV and theatre industries are the mates to my soul. My passion for these art forms may seem superficial to some, and I’ve let those opinions limit my perspective over the decades. However, I am one who believes that one form of art inspires another. Thus, I will talk (or write) nonstop about a TV series that moved me or a musical that I can’t stop thinking about.

So when my family got tired of hearing me prattle on about season three of BRIDGERTON, I grabbed my pencil and paper instead. I posted two pieces on my entertainment-themed blog, AN ENTERTAINING IDEA, and share excerpts here because I am quite proud of them from a writer’s perspective. A Blooming Wallflower: Celebrating BRIDGERTON’S Third Season
While I’m not quite a social butterfly, I have fluttered my wings occasionally in the last decade or so, and yet I prefer the comfort of my cocoon. I can’t be disappointed if I never put myself in a social position. I can’t feel invisible, insecure, or inept if I stay out of the crowd. However, my excitement over the upcoming season of Netflix’s Bridgerton inspired me to break out of my cocoon.
If you’ve read any of my previous film/TV/theatre “reviews” then you won’t be surprised by my glass-half-full style. I choose to celebrate the pieces of work that inspire my appreciation instead of picking them apart in search of faults. The shows (or films) I write about on this platform are ones that moved me enough to share my enthusiasm with others. Such is the case with the third season of Netflix and Shondaland’s jewel, BRIDGERTON.
