Birthed from a natural home
The rosebud makes an entrance
With care from the sun, rain, and green thumb
The flower known as delicate
Can defend itself
The thorns guard the petals
From those who might cause harm
While vivid colors and vibrant aromas
Enhance the surroundings
Flowers bloom as children do
Needing nourishment from gentle hands
A supportive environment
And space to grow.
